Your journey will begin in Dubrovnik where you will meet your guides and the rally group at the historic and perfectly positioned Hilton Imperial Hotel.
Over two weeks, you will sail along the Adriatic coast to Montenegro taking in off the beaten track islands and ports along the way. Your hosts will organise optional excursions, fun races and delicious dinners where you can socialise with other crews, taste local cuisine and experience the best the Adriatic has to offer.

**Only 1 cabin left** Book a private cabin on a professionally skippered 48ft 'share-boat' and let someone else do the sailing for you. Housekeeping and cooking is a shared responsibility amongst your crew, but you can participate in sailing as much or as little as you like. Priced at AU$5,820 per person twin share.
Do I need to know how to sail?
No. That is why we offer a professionally skippered catamaran. If you are a sailor then you can charter a whole yacht for you and your friends, keeping in mind you will need a recognised certification.
How many people are on the Yacht Rally?
This varies between yacht rally destinations, however groups can be anywhere from 20 to 50 people. Our preference is to keep the groups smaller rather than larger, it allows everyone access to unique places and great restaurants!
Is accommodation included?
Yes, there are two nights hotel accomodation included in the package; one night in Dubrovnik before the charter begins, and one night after the charter in Kotor. Our experienced team can also help you to arrange pre and post rally accommodation.
How far do we sail each day?
Firstly, you wont be sailing every day - some days you will be exploring ashore and others will be spent relaxing on board. When you are sailing, the distance between islands will vary, however the average distance covered each day is around 20 nautical miles, or 37KM.
What is the weather like?
The average daily air temperature in June is 29°C and the average water temperature is 24°C. Rain is uncommon and the winds are fairly light during summer, but there are variations depending on your location and the time of day.
Do we have to race?
No. But we guarantee if there are two boats sailing in the same direction, there is a race! If we encounter strong winds or you feel the day calls for lounging about on deck and a bit more exploring, then you can do as you wish. We are not here to tell you how to holiday, we are here to give you the support.
How do you get there?
Situated near the border of the two countries, Dubrovnik airport is the best gateway into both Croatia and Montenegro. Emirates offer services from Australia to Croatia’s capital of Zagreb where you can take a connecting flight to Dubrovnik. Alternatively, flights from most major European airports are frequent. Mariner Boating Holidays work closely with Travel Partners, a specialist travel organisation whose agents are experts at creating tailored flight solutions. Contact us for further details.
